Welcome to Kentfield

Located in the Ross Valley, Kentfield is a wonderful unincorporated residential area with homes nestled among tree lined streets. Summers are warm and Kentfield enjoys a milder climate than its neighbors to the south managing to miss out on the San Francisco fog. It is, however, because of its proximity to Mt. Tamalpais, considered to be one of the wettest areas in the Bay Area with an average yearly rainfall of 47.5 inches!

Its main street, College Avenue, is home to the Woodlands Market, the much favored Half Day Café and the local community college, The College of Marin.
